if this has been posted elsewhere, it didn't show up in search. There seem to be a lot of typos in this article, even with some of the numbers. Even so, I tried to do the math and and come up with discrepancies.

I also come out of this wondering why they didn't stick with the highest margin coins? And, I still don't get this shortage of planchets excuse.

The BIG picture is that gold/silver are the ANTI-THESIS (read anti-govythinking-righteousness) to the US dollar.

Gold and silver in 1800 was the only constitutional money - then. Who's your daddy now? Ha ha ha...
